My Path into Customer Success

What I do

In my early roles as an Account Manager, I learned how to listen, how to solve problems with empathy, and how to make people feel heard. I wasn’t just responding to requests, I was building trust.

That foundation led me to Customer Success, where I found a career that brings together everything I care about: strong relationships, impactful results, and a deep understanding of how people and businesses work.

At impress.ai, I managed everything from onboarding to retention to upselling. I helped enterprise clients adopt the tool, solve challenges, achieve business goals and succeed long-term. Along the way, I reduced escalations, improved workflows, partnered with product teams to build features, and maintained high client satisfaction - not because I was chasing just numbers, but because I cared about the people behind them.

From circuits to client conversations

My Journey

I started my career in Electronics & Communication Engineering at Cochin University of Science and Technology. Back then, I thought I was wired for systems and logic - and in some ways, I still am. But somewhere along the way, I discovered that what excited me most wasn’t just how things worked, but who I was helping.

After graduation, I took a different path. Inspired by my father’s work in sales and client relationships, I moved into roles that focused more on communication, business growth and strategy.

That shift wasn’t planned. But it felt natural.
